TYPICAL DAY AT UNI. OF GHANA MEDICAL SCHOOL, ACCRA #2 | Life of a 2nd Year Med Student

Hello! Today is Tuesday. We’re having hematology
labs later on. So I thought, you know what, it was quite spontaneous so let’s do a video. I mean why not (claps) let’s get going (music) (Music)
(Doors locks) So, I’m arriving at school by 5 to 8. Not
a bad one considering I left home like 10 minutes later than I should. So, yeah.
(Door opens) Hi guys, so I quickly dropped by at home to
get my lunch. I mean I took my cereal, my breakfast with me. Well I didn’t put enough
sugar. I like to have my cereal with coffee in it either, decaf or caffinated, it’s like
I went a little bit crazy on the coffee. So, yeah…
We’ve had all our lectures for the morning. What’s left is … I know I’m standing to
eat, I’m in a hurry What’s left is hematology labs.
We had hematology the whole day. It was like first lecture was on rbcs, hemolytic anemia…
then yeah then we went to spleenomegalies. I’m so hypoglycemic.
I have to head back, so I’m actually in time. Then…(music)
So, I’m ready to go. I also forgot my wifi on so it’s a good thing
I came home. Came to turn it off (music) So I get to go with a lighter bag. Alright,
see you. (Door locks)
This is okailey. Sandra, yeyy hiiii So this are my coolest friends apparently
in med school. We’re waiting for our hematology labs.
Please she’s not always like this.. like this (laughs)
OK, so yeah I’m actually listening to some Sunny Ade. I’ve been stuck on it for a while.
I’m listening to Bryan tar queen, rain fall. Nobody asked her.. but okay
I asked myself (laughter) Adobea REALLY?
We’re done with labs, so here is Misturah. Hiiii
Hi misturah. We’re done for the day and we had labs today
that’s why everybody looks fancy in their ward coats.
Oh yeah! We would go for group studies cos we closed early .
Hey Gerald, say hi Say hiiiiiiiii
This is our course rep! This is our class president
Yeah, the one who puts it to people Puts it to people that he’s the class prefect.
I mean class president thank you (Humming)
Sandra is it here Hey! So I am back home .
It’s what? 7:23pm and I am back home. I was hijacked by the youth president to go
to church asides that I could have been back home like some 10 15 minutes ago. Buh yeah.
I’m back home now… I’m so knackered. Am very tired. Am very hungry.
I’m going to make myself dinner and Elm…. I’m just gonna have noodles with fried eggs.
That’s what I’m gonna have. I’m not sure, should I take you? Should I
not take you? I think it’s enough for one day. Don’t you
THINK? Yeah…it’s enough for one day. So. Thanks for watching this video.
