down straight on your back hold the cane in front of you parallel to the floor
now bring elbow to 90 degree of angle so as it remains vertically straight elbows
touching your sides palms up and hands shoulder-width apart slowly shift the
cane away from your body in a sideways direction toward the side of the
affected shoulder keep the cane parallel to the ground and elbows in contact with
your sides 10 to 20 repetitions is required in a single session shoulder
pendulum begin the exercise by using only the weight of your arm without any
added weights gradually progress it by holding light weight such as dumbbells
packet of salt water bottles into the routine
keep back straight feet shoulder-width apart
support opposite arm on a table to allow the affected arm to hang straight down
with full relaxation of that shoulders muscles using the motion of your body to
create shoulder motion sway your body start with small circles gradually
increasing to larger circles perform twenty to twenty-five circles in each
direction advanced anterior shoulder stretch
once you have progressed through the previous exercise you can try the
stretch with your arm at 90 degrees placing your elbow against the War law
at the door lean forward until you feel a comfortable stretch in the anterior
aspect of your shoulder use the same key points for timing reps from the previous
exercise hold for ten to thirty seconds perform five to ten repetitions as
tolerated remember that healing from a frozen
shoulder will take time in some cases a lot of time but regular and correct
exercises combined with proper physiotherapy guidance it can be cured

    NOW, THE PENDULUM EXERCISE – THE INSTRUCTIONS (LIKE EVERYWHERE ELSE) SAY TO MOVE THE BODY SO THAT IT CAUSES THE ARM TO MOVE, HOWEVER, THE MANIQUIN DOESN'T MOVE THE BODY, ONLY THE ARM.
    EXTERNAL ROTATION EXERCISE – IT SAYS TO KEEP THE ELBOWS IN CONTACT W/ SIDES, HOWEVER THE MANIQUIN DOESN'T.

  5. This is what I did in therapy along with massage and it worked after 2 weeks I was back to normal. Although mine was covered with a heavy and big ice pack afterwards.

  9. I ended up stopping physical therapy and began working with a chiropractor instead. Best decision I ever made concerning my treatment. I am in the "unthawing" phase. But he works my shoulder and pulls those adhesions WAAAAAYYY better and more intensely than any PT did. The muscles he targets are SPOT on.   11. Even though animated..this is the most realistic set of Excerises I've seen for impingement and rotator cuff injuries…I have both.

  12. These exercises are not possible!! Only one I can do is pendulum. I cannot lay flat as it is too painful and as for raising my arms, you've got to be kidding!! I have had frozen shoulder for 2 years, can only sleep upright. Only results I have achieved are by being intense pulling by my physio at the hospital.. Have had two lots of hydrodilation, but no joy!!

  17. i have for the second time a frozen shoulder, excersises should be done for at least a half year up to a year before your shoulder is healthy again. I will do these exersises.

  18. I think they might be on to something. I move my arm/shoulder in different ways and figure, if it hurts, then it must be working 🙂 I know that's not necessarily the case because there can be further damage, but like the old joke goes, "Pain is just weakness leaving your body".

  19. Shoulder Pendulum hurts regardless, has for weeks. Lots of popping in the rear armpit of the affected shoulder. Still can't lift arm. 🙁

Years ago I suffered from a bad case of F,S due to many reasons pointed out to me was I lost my husband suddenly and found out I was pregnant with our first child during the winter months of 1982 I really believe the brain sends messages to the nervous system saying, hello what's going on I'm on a go slow here I seem to be working overtime and slows down blood flow due to shock.correct me if I'm wrong but hell was it painful I was not allowed to have any type of medicine but do believe relaxation in a nice bath a good massage a glass of wine and good rest, say's DR B.lol.

  22. Thank you Jen. I started working out yesterday after 6 months sabbatical due to health issues. This morning I woke up really sore everywhere. I needed a gentle stretch that would work everything. I wasn't sure if this video would do it ( 7wow.cc/5dl3 ), but I feel so much better after completely it.     Passive pullups is the best to recover in short time. And take bittergourd juice in the morning.
